- MCM contains a full accident and incident reporting process
- The basis of the accident and incident forms is evidence captured at the point of care
Best use of MCM
Pressing the 'accident' or 'incident' buttons when recording a care note will generate an accident form under the 'Process' tab in Monitor. Accident/incident care notes will be sent to the handover notes. An accident/incident matrix can be viewed under the 'Analysis' tab in Monitor.
You can use the Group Reporting feature to monitor whether accident and incident forms are being completed in a timely manner.
