Wound Care
Wound Care
- Wound care is a combined process: the type, description and pictures of a skin condition, with the treatment planned, the assessment of the condition, and a record of today’s treatment can be entered in one place.
- It replaces the separate steps of recording a skin condition, creating a care plan linked to the body map, using the carer device to record the wound care for today and a paper assessment.
- To save retyping the assessment for each treatment, the previous assessment is copied over to today’s so only changes need to be modified.
- The process also presents the entire history for the condition side by side to allow assessment of the treatment plan and change it as needed.
